Dr. Alexander Black

Dr. Alexander Black grew up in Westchester, attending the Scarsdale Schools elementary school through high school. He received a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from Binghamton University and a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Premedical Sciences from Columbia University. He completed his doctor in dental surgery (DDS) degree at Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in Hawthorne, NY.

As a part of the first class of this program, he was a founding member of its student government and served as class secretary. Upon graduation he was presented with the Marc A. Rosenblum Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry. He then went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital.

He has returned to his hometown of Scarsdale, NY to join Scarsdale Dental Group in July 2022. In his free time he enjoys long walks by the waterfront and spending time with his family’s many pets.
