Dental Implant Supported Bridges
Implant-supported bridges replace teeth without support from adjacent natural teeth, so for gaps of 2 or more teeth they may be recommended. An implant-supported bridge uses implants versus shaved teeth as would a regular dental bridge. In most cases, when an implant-supported bridge is used, one implant is placed on either side of the missing teeth. Then the crowns that are part of the bring are then placed on top of the supporting implants to form an esthetically pleasing, functional and comfortable one piece bridge.
Implant-supported bridges will replace a number of your teeth roots. Also, dental implants cannot get infected when integrating with your jawbone and restore stimulation for healthy growth in your jawbone.
